Editorial policy
Every claim earns its place.
ShotDialed publishes home-espresso buying guides, diagnostics, and comparisons. This policy describes exactly how we handle facts, testing, and corrections.
Accuracy & sourcing
Every number is cited or labeled as opinion.
Factual claims — numbers, comparisons, "best" statements — are either cited to a credible source (manufacturer specs, published tests, primary data) or clearly presented as our own tested opinion. We do not publish unverifiable statistics. If we cannot cite it and we did not test it, we do not publish it.
How a guide is written
Tested first, then written.
Every guide starts on the bench. Marco works from direct home use, checks product claims against cited manufacturer specs and published tests, and edits each article against that evidence before publishing. Anything that cannot be source-verified or tested in person is removed before publication.
Corrections
Errors get fixed, credited, and dated.
Found a mistake? Tell us — point to the specific claim and a better source. We will fix the article, note the correction at the bottom, and update the published date. Corrections are never hidden or silently deleted.
